I (Heart) Mondays
Here's a concept: I'm taking the day off! Excuse me while I stretch out on the bed and read a book at 9:30 in the morning and I'm not sick, not depressed. I'm taking Monday off!
It's Wednesday, but after forty-five minutes at the gym and another forty-five walking with my buddy Kirk, I'm ready to read a book too. Instead, I'm preparing for tonight's James Joyce Literary Festival readings with our chapter of the California Writers Club--six o'clock at the Mendocino Hotel; following that, we're exchanging writing and art with the Artists' Coop of Mendocino--the kick off of our ekphrasis !
